The Course Guide

Boulder Creek Golf Club

This course complements the original course in Boulder City nicely. With a more desert feel and more of the resort course accoutrements, this is a true Las Vegas golf, resort experience located in friendly Boulder City. There are 27 holes of golf splendor available along with a vast practice facility. The holes at Boulder Creek Golf Club dance through the desert and in and around water and rugged terrain. A beautiful clubhouse is available for weddings and tournament receptions, and overlooks the majestic par 4, 9th hole of the Desert Hawk course.

The Chase at Coyote Springs

The Chase is the first golf course in a planned series of Jack Nicklaus-designed courses that will flow throughout the Coyote Springs community. The course plays to a par 72 and ranges from 5,349 yards from the forward tees to 7,471 yards from the championship tees. Eleven lakes come into play on the golf course many consider to be one of Nicklaus’ finest desert creations.

The Chase has been named by the nation’s top three consumer golf publications, Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and Travel+Leisure Golf, as one of the “Best New Courses of 2008.” This marks the first time a Las Vegas area golf course has been named to all three Best New Courses lists.

Las Vegas Paiute

The Wolf course, being dubbed as the most difficult course in the Las Vegas valley, is the most recent addition to the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.

Pete Dye thought of what creature a golfer would not want to come across in the desert (other than a rattle-snake) and that would be a wolf. That is a perfect name for this course, because it is scary and does make you feel like its teeth are snarling at you dripping with saliva. In other words, this track is tough. Utilizing every aspect of the desert landscaping, Wolf was designed to give the most skilled players a run for their money.

Lexington at The Revere (Anthem)

The older of the two 18-hole championship layouts at the Revere Golf Club, a Troon Golf facility in the prestigious Anthem community, the Lexington course is an impressive blend of dramatic scenery and challenging design. The Revere Golf Club is situated in the rugged desert valleys and canyons of the Las Vegas foothills, granting spectacular panoramic views of both the city and mountains. Both courses at the club were designed by the respected duo Billy Casper and Greg Nash. The Lexington course stretches more than 7,100 yards for a par of 72 in a layout that will test a player’s shot making skills every step of the way. Lexington is the more intimidating of the two, moving players through a desert layout punctuated by undulating fairways and tight manicured greens.

Concord at The Revere (Anthem)

The Revere Golf Club Concord golf course is a perfect complement to its award-winning Lexington. The Revere Golf Club Concord golf course is located above the Las Vegas Valley and thus affords some of the most spectacular views of the city and the mountains. A 7100-yard layout designed by PGA Tour legend, Billy Casper, and architect Greg Nash, the course features numerous, strategically-placed bunkers, more than 1,700 trees, generous fairways and undulating greens. It’s a relatively tough course, especially for the low-handicapper playing from the back tees. But the inclusion of multiple tee boxes ensures an enjoyable round for mid to high handicapped golfers, too.

Badlands Golf Club

Badlands Golf Club is target golf at its finest. This Johnny Miller design is not so much about distance as it is about accuracy. With its diminutive greens and forced carries, Badlands is a great test of golf for die-hards and rookies alike. Badlands Golf Club is now the only golf course in Vegas with air-conditioned golf carts, this Troon Golf facility is a must-play for any golfer who wants a healthy challenge. Another improvement to the Badlands Golf Club, a new clubhouse, will have a greater capacity for large golf groups and golf tournaments. Earlier this year Badlands Golf Course hosted the Southwestern Golf Association tournament on June 12th in its 91st year, an event older than the US Open.

Silverstone Golf Club

Silverstone Golf Club has twenty-seven championship holes with lush greens, rolling mounds and spectacular views of the Sheep Mountains. With four sets of tees, Silverstone offers guests a challenging and memorable golf experience for players of all skill levels.

Siena Golf Club

Surrounded by the towering Spring Mountains near Las Vegas, Siena Golf Club features gently rolling fairways and artful bunkering – plus the course offers dazzling views of the spectacular Las Vegas skyline. Designed by master architects Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt and built by the golf specialists at Sunrise Colony Company, Siena is renowned throughout the Las Vegas Valley for its natural beauty and unprecedented serenity.

Siena Golf Club is a revival of the values and artistic styles fashioned by golf’s greatest courses. What’s more, Siena is a celebration of the Italian Culture. In the Tuscany-themed Siena at Summerlin, a focal point of the Siena Golf Club is Lake Siena, a quarter-mile-long lake with cascading waterfalls on the 1st hole of the golf course.

Arroyo Golf Club

The Arroyo Course, Red Rock Country Club’s Arnold Palmer Signature course is open to public play and is located in the Master Planned Community of Summerlin in Las Vegas.

Stretching 6,883 yards and playing to a par 72, the Arroyo is a rare mix of compelling design and exceptional beauty. Bold bunkering, dramatic water hazards and the stark contrast of emerald greens against the tanned desert mountain, make the Arroyo as visually striking as it is challenging. The Arroyo golf course ribbons seamlessly through the rugged terrain and is nestled between the spectacular landscapes of Red Rock Canyon, one of Las Vegas’ most revered natural landmarks.

Primm Valley Golf Club

Primm Valley Golf Las Vegas is located just 35 minutes south of Las Vegas on the I-15 near the California/Nevada border, the Primm Valley Golf Club is one of the most talked-about and sought-after golf vacation destinations. With two spectacular Tom Fazio-designed courses, PVGC offers, even the finest of golfers, an exciting challenge. And it’s all set in a beautiful and unique environment, as only the desert can provide.

Lakes Course — The Primm Valley Golf Lakes course, which opened in February of 1997, is renown as one of the top ten best new courses in 97′ by Golf Digest Magazine. Tom Fazio has created a lush green, golfer’s paradise in the middle of the desert with distant mountains and a vast expanse of wilderness as a backdrop. Generous fairways, that slope towards the middle make the course very player friendly. But don’t be fooled! The undulating, well-bunkered greens and water hazards will make it difficult to tame this beautiful beast. The course plays to 6,945 yards and a par of 71.

Desert Course — The Desert Course at Primm Valley Golf Club is like an overshadowed younger brother. For many, the Desert Course is a notch below the Lakes Course, the first Tom Fazio design at Primm. For pure golf and desert beauty, the Desert Course is second to none. But choosing between the Desert Course and Lakes Course is like choosing between pumpkin pie with or without the whipped cream. You can’t go wrong either way.

The Desert Course’s holes were designed to highlight the surrounding views of the area, and the course feels like it was destined to be where it is. Mountain peaks hovering over gorgeous greens, desert valleys stretching beside generous fairways and blue sky (nearly every day of the year) resemble the work of an artist in contrast to the greens and browns of the golf course.
